Today, Hawko specialises in commercial, architectural and industrial LED linear lighting and has grown to become a leading manufacturer of indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures in Australia.

Our History
Opening in 1983 on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia, Hawko began as a low voltage lighting manufacturer, manufacturing everything from decorative string lighting to commercial lighting for cinemas and auditoriums. It wasn’t long before Hawko became one of the leading Australian lighting manufacturers and began expanding the product range.

Quickly the Hawko name and reputation for outstanding quality was recognised internationally, with major projects being completed in the USA, South Africa, the United Kingdom and throughout Europe, as well as at home in Australia.

With over 40 years of experience in the lighting industry, today Hawko is one of the most successful manufacturers to the Australian market for LED linear and custom lighting.
Our Resources
The Hawko commitment to quality is on display with our prototyping and manufacturing facilities. With our own CNC machine shop, on-site powder coating facility and in house design engineers, we are able to control the quality of our products all the way from concept, through prototyping, to the final product for shipping. We use state of the art 3D design software and 3D printers during all design and prototyping stages, so you can have complete peace of mind that all Hawko product is 100% designed, tested and manufactured in Australia to the highest standards.

We stand proudly by the fact that all Hawko products are assembled and or manufactured in Australia with over 95% of raw materials purchased from local Australian companies, keeping jobs and profits in our great country.
